"Any remodeling process can be stressful for many. Who doesn’t want it to run smoothly? And who doesn’t hope the finished product will satisfy the customers’ expectations as to the planning, design and workmanship? My husband and I were fortunate enough to capture this success when Xylem Building and Renovation did a complete makeover of our kitchen and bathrooms.
While design, and certainly workmanship are crucial, of equal importance is dealing with professionals who listen to the customers’ wants and needs. Xylem made helpful suggestions, but never forced us into all the “bells and whistles”, so to speak. Our end product is a practical, efficient, attractive design that makes life pleasant.
Of course there were problems, but Xylem Building and Renovation regards these as “challenges”, not problems. I cringe when I remember the shower stall that wouldn’t fit up the stairs. Not a problem-they took off the stair rail, with a smile no less! The entire process continued like this. All challenges were met.
A huge item we wanted absolutely no involvement in was coordinating the tasks. If we had to deal personally with the delivery men, the plumber, electrician, etc. etc., we would never have even considered a renovation. All coordinating is done by Xylem in a timely fashion with no anxiety on the customers’ part.
The tales about builders not showing up when you’re expecting them-never! They arrive when they say they will and often remain over and beyond to accomplish the task while doing their best to work at the customer’s convenience.
And finally, is there a follow up-of course! This company actually contacts you to check and ensure that all expectations have been met. My husband has a “triple A” personality and can put an exact science to shame. He still gives glowing reports about his house renovations to anyone who will listen. We, the customers, had the pleasure of interacting with talented craftsmen whose high work ethics dictate their careful attention paid to detail as well as the customers’ wishes.
The Xylem slogan is so true-“Design, Build, Enjoy”. Xylem designed, Xylem built, and we certainly enjoy!!"
